Hello. My name is Jessica and I am a coffee-o-holic. Im serious. I have always known I have had an obession, but now that I am a mom, it has reached a whole new level. Im seriously wired all day! Which I dont mind because I have things to get done. And hey, it speeds up your matabolism so whatever! I can justify my obsession because I drink weak coffee. So really, its not too terrible. We all have our issues, right?? Mine just happen to come with cream and sugar...
Now I have been thinking about what Hudson might be when he grows up. I have narrowed them down to a couple options.
1. Weatherman
2. Zookeeper or Vet
3. Lawyer
4. Actor
5. The next Houdini
I have my reasons for all of them. I carried hudson during the hottest summer in Texas history. He loves animals and watching them. He argues with me already. Lord, give me strength with that one. He is super emotional and makes hilarious faces. And he tries to slip, roll, turn or any other type of movement to get where he needs to go. So there you have my predictions.
Hudson makes really strange noises. Im not sure how he comes up with them. He sounds like half owl, half baby dinosaur. Its really funny. He is constantly saying, "hoo, hoo, hoo". And then all the sudden he will let out a huge, "AGGGHHHHGGHHH"! It scares me!! He also will take my hands and bite me as he is making his dinosaur noises. I often ask Matt, "how did we DO that!? How did we produce this child that makes strange noises like this???" (Im talking about Hudson when I say "that").
I have some projects I need to get done. I need to put all of Hudson's newborn to 3-6 month clothes in storage. I need all those hangers and closet space for new clothes. But Im sad... I dont want to put them away. They mean so much to me. But I need to just put my big girl undies on, and do it. He wont always be a baby. So get over it, momma!
I also want to use a shadow box, and display our hospital stuff in it. Im excited to do that. I will display his coming home outfit and our wrist bands. His little stamped feet will go in there as well, and Im going to hold them up with some sewing pins.
Shout out to Jen and her hubby! They are celebrating their anniversary tonight! And shout out to all my BBC ladies! I love you guys! Look out for a package containing extra virgin olive oil in the mail! Hahahaha ;)
Love,
J and H
lol..my hubby and I have our own personal joke about the olive oil. While I was pregnant I kept trying to talk him into perinatal massage. He never did. :(
ReplyDeleteBahahaha. Love it. I never did that either, Jamie. Im laughing so hard. Little did he know, he probably should have. I don't think ill be able to look at olive oil the same way after all of our conversations with the girls.
ReplyDeleteI have to do the same thing with Odin's clothes and closet. It makes me so sad every time I have to put another beloved outfit in the "too small" box. I should have a separate box for favorites, haha.
ReplyDeleteLove the shadow box idea! I'm trying to find a really nice keepsake box for that stuff, but right now it's all just in a shoebox. A shadow box is so much nicer. =)
