And this is why...
I get my house in order for the week. Meal planning, scheduling, cleaning, and activities. It makes me feel so much more at ease when I know everything is ready to go!
I made homemade biscuits this morning, and then Matt left for work. He isnt working tonight, so it will be nice to have some family time. This week will be a busy one, so here is to enjoying the day with my two favorite guys!
Hudson was cracking me up before his nap. While rocking him, he has "conversations" with me. And I always laugh because he sticks his little finger in his mouth and talks to me. When I start laughing, so does he, and that's not supposed to be happening! He is supposed to be nodding off to sleep. Silly kid. He also yells at me when HE takes the bottle out of his mouth. I didnt take it! Yet he yells at ME!
Meal Plan for the week:
Moday- Grilling at mom's
Tuesday- Daddy brings dinner home since Im coaching and he is working
Wednesday- Tacos with ground turkey, avocado, black beans, and cilantro lime rice
Thursday- Baked chicken breaded with italian bread crumbs, polenta, and fresh green beans w/ lemon
Friday- Mommy's favorite. Italian (chicken) sausage, cinnamon glazed sweet potatoes, and garlic cous cous
All healthy and yummy meals this week! I cannot wait until Hudson is old enough to cook with me and learn about healthy food. Fun stuff to look forward to!
Easter is coming up! Shout out to my momma, who's birthday falls on Easter this year! I went to look for an Easter basket for Hudson, yesterday. All Easter baskets are so girly! I guess I have never noticed. Anyway, not sure what the plan is for Easter. Our front office at the townhomes is having an Easter party for the kids, so I definitely want to do that. Theyll have an Easter bunny, as well!
Okay... Hudson is down, house is clean, its about time for my book and an iced coffee. Book this week, The Peach Keeper by Sarah Addison Allen. Love her!
Love, J and H
Have you checked out Longaberger baskets? They are kind of pricey, but they are super nice and you can use them year after year. They are also multi-functional and you can use them to hold mail, Christmas cards, fruit, baby toys, hair products, dog toys, etc. =)
